Commercial Insurance, Lebanon – News and Events: Christmas Letter 2016
Christmas Letter 2016
Date 18/12/2016

A rejuvenated and bolder logo! Yes, this rebrand was an essential element of the modernization programme and new developments the company is conducting and actively committed to. The sail boat remains our logo icon, well anchored since 1962 in its values of excellence, innovation, proximity, engagement and transparency. Yet, it is continuously sailing closer to you, managing your risks so that you can live boldly. Its edges are well rounded embracing the highest ethical standards while offering the most personalised and efficient services.

This year again, especially with the greater economic hardships endured, we will continue the tradition of celebrating with the deprived, extending our season’s greetings to you, our valued partner, by supporting the highly lauded Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SSVP).

Founded in 1833 by a group of young laymen in France under the patronage of Saint Vincent de Paul, well known for his charitable work, it was later established in Beirut in 1860.  Its vision as conceived by its founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, is to embrace the world in a network of charity.

Around 900 volunteers and members have dedicated their time and energy to make a difference in the life of the disadvantaged all over Lebanon. Whilst maintaining the focus on its core mission, which is visiting the needy by seeking them wherever they are, SSVP has extended its services by including spiritual, social (elderly care homes, clubs, employment assistance and free meals), medical (7 community clinics, 3 dental clinics and 2 physiotherapy clinics), educational (nurseries, sponsorships, vocational training and others), recreational, developmental (including amongst others Monsieur Vincent catering and the Mabrouk artisanal shop),  as well as emergency services.

On behalf of Commercial Insurance team, I wish you a very happy and rewarding 2017!

Max Zaccar

Chairman
