Commercial Insurance, Lebanon – News and Events: Christmas Letter 2015
Christmas Letter 2015
Date 18/12/2015

“Art for a cause”, “#Make# Art #Not # War”, “Art can Heal”, #LiveLoveLebanon, “#BeirutArtFair2015, are slogans that especially marked our year in Lebanon.

United with hope for a better tomorrow, the Lebanese witnessed the grand re-opening of historic museums, inauguration of landmark foundations and soon the launch of the first modern and contemporary museum in addition to the existing national museum and several reputed private ones. We were proud to host again the Beirut Art Fair and participate in the Singapore Art Fair.

Commercial Insurance also participated in this movement by encouraging young emerging local talent and by developing the appropriate insurance coverage to preserve public and private heritage.

United with hope for a better tomorrow, several NGOs undertook art as an integral part of their curricula to develop the talents and inner expressions of those suffering from various disorders.  They have showcased their talents at the Beirut Art Fair and through seasonal greeting cards and exhibitions among other activities.

As such, we will continue the tradition of celebrating with the deprived by extending our season’s greetings to you, our valued partner, by supporting all ART activities at Sesobel which include greeting cards, ceramics workshops, sewing, gardening and bead threading.  Our annual budget for greeting cards will be donated to Sesobel to accompany the disabled children in all the dimensions of their lives and to preserve the unity of their families.

Sesobel was founded in 1976 by Yvonne Chami. During the past year, they assisted 986 children (inpatient and outpatient) on various fronts including medical, special education, therapy, protected workshops, work aid programs and social action to the family.

On behalf of Commercial Insurance team, I wish you a very happy and rewarding 2016!

Max Zaccar
